filed for a divorce without a lawyer, spouse is nowhere to be found parents refuse to talk what do I do?
I sent a copy to the parents house , that is where I was told to send them. she will not contact me nothing at a lost here.

need a good family lawyer to adjust a divorce decree?
I’m looking to more than likely go back to court against my ex to try and get full custody of our son and remove the living restrictions so my son and I can move out of state. When he filed he lived in Plano so the divorce took place in Collin County? Do I need to adjust the decree in Collin County or can I do it in Tarrant County where I reside?
my son is 10 and has said on more than one occasion that he is afraid of his father… my ex isn’t the worst case but he is pretty bad…

I need help. I dont think I should be paying for girlfriends lawyer for a divorce?
My girlfriend is in the middle of getting a divorce. I have been seeing her for a while and been helping her. A few weeks ago she came to me and said she found a better lawyer. She said he needed 500 down to retain him. I thought this was a little off but I told her I would help. She fired her lawyer but I couldnt help her cuz it fell through. She freaked out but her sister let her put it on her credit card. She says it was my fault cuz she fired her lawyer cuz of what i said. Now she wants me to pay her sister back 1000 for this. I dont think I should be a part of this. Am I right or is she? What should I do?

I am looking for a lawyer that is aggressive and that has a impeccable trial history. My soon to be ex-husband makes much more than I and is trying to make me go broke so I give up. Still being controlling even though we no longer live together. I need the best lawyer who can get this done efficiently. Please help.

how bad would it be to not have a lawyer for a divorce?
i’m gonna be getting a divorce. we have no assets, only debt. a house i can’t afford on my own, she can but doesn’t want it. and one other loan. i live in ohio, it is a 50-50 state. i think that means she can only put half the debt on me, nothing more, right? what’s the worst that could possibly happen if i go in there without a lawyer? we tried a dissolution, but she doesn’t want to give me my fair share. i only wanted some of the furniture or a few appliances. i have moved out and so has she. the house is now vacant and she was supposed to be paying the payment, but now she won’t.
please help!! i don’t want her to be able to screw me anymore than what she already has, but i also don’t want to have to pay the outrageous attorney fees.
